View of Worcester Cathedral From Across Severn River, Worcester, England

This riverview of Worcester Cathedral, in the west of England, is one of the most famous ones in Britain. It has been depicted in art and was even featured on the £20 British banknote used between 1999 and 2010. The cathedral's west front faces the Severn River which is lined on both sides by trees, some of which reach out into the water where ducks often swim (there is a single white one near the tree on the right side of the photo). The Cathedral was built between the 11th and the 16th century. The tower was finished in the perpendicular style in the 1370s and is 62metres high.
