UNAMID builds a temporary clinic in Zam Zam
30 May 2013. Zam Zam: Tents that UNAMID is building to temporarily replace the clinic of the local NGO Humanitarian Assistance and Development (HAD) in Zam Zam camp for Internally Displaced Persons (IDP), Norh Darfur.
The clinic of HAD burnt out last February. It has two doctors and seven nurses, attend an average of 80 people every day.
Zam Zam camp, with hundreds of thousands of residents, has only two more clinics.
