Attic 'Red-Figure' Mixing Bowl

On this bell-krater (mixing bowl), the figures depicted are: in the centre, a Maenad or female follower of the god Dionysus; and on left and right, two Satyrs, male nature spirits with ears and tails similar to horses and were said to have had permanent erections!

This bowl is dated to around 400-380 BC, so about 2,400 years old.
