Two countries joined together by pins and string to represent Offshore Tax Havens

Pictured is two countries connected with two red pins and a piece of string. This image represents Offshore Tax Havens, which is a method of tax avoidance, of which some cases are found to be happening in the UK. One county is cut in the pound sign to depict the money involved.

Tax avoidance is slightly different from tax evasion in the sense that it is legal. However, it still costs the UK billions of pounds each year and contributes well to the tax gap in Britain, Offshore Tax Havens play a part in this.
