No Wrongs Have Been Done to Me When I Walk Amongst the Trees (Black & White, Mammoth Cave National Park)

No Wrongs Have Been Done to Me When I Walk Amongst the Trees (Black & White, Mammoth Cave National Park)

A setting along the main walkway from the visitors center in Mammoth Cave National Park down to the main, historic entrance into the namesake cave. I didn't have much time to compose this image and found my lens fogging up quite often with the fog all around. I decided because of that to try out something I'd come across a year or so back for black & white image conversions. The idea is from a video I saw for a minimalist look by Scott Davenport video on that topic (www.scottdavenportphoto.com/blog/in-post-creating-a-minim...). I used Capture NX2 and used similar techniques from the video with a High Key and then Glamour Glow CEP filter before converting to black & white. That look created brought out more of an eerie feel that seemed to best go with a portion of the capture title I typed out.
