Military Working Dogs put to the test in Edinburgh

Pictured is "Wendy" on parade!

Military Working Dogs from 104 Military Working Dog Squadron, based in Rutland, travelled to Edinburgh to take part in training exercises in and around the city.

104 Military Working Dog Squadron, who returned from Afghanistan in October 2013, is based at North Luffenham, Rutland, and has now refocused its attentions to UK homeland defence.

From search dogs to protection dogs, Military Working Dogs have been used by the British Army for over a century and have more recently demonstrated their extraordinary capabilities in both Iraq and Afghanistan.
