Army Reserve Engagement Cell program holds discussions

Maj. Gen. Tracy A. Thompson (center), commander of 412th Theater Engineer Command, discusses the current state of the Army Reserve Engagement Cell program and his intentions for maintaining forward progress to AREC teams assigned to U.S. Army Africa, Sept. 30 at Caserma Del Din. Brig. Gen. Kenneth H. Moore, Jr., U.S. Army Africa deputy commanding general and Army Reserve Engagement Cell director, and his team, provide support to Regionally Aligned Forces conducting missions in Africa. AREC mission states: assets augment Combatant Commands, Army Service Component Commands, Corps, and other headquarters staff with integrated capabilities and provide valuable guidance on the employment of Reserve Soldiers to facilitate those commands in achieving mission goals.
