A Hint of the Cassidy Arch Across a Rugged Landscape (Capitol Reef National Park)

This was a point along a curve in the trail and cliff wall I was hiking along where I had this view that seemingly stretched for mile after mile. It's a view looking to the southwest across the Grand Wash. This was also another time when I felt that angling my Nikon SLR camera slightly downward would bring out a much better view as it both swept across the landscape of the Waterpocket Fold as well as gave the towering cliff walls some perspective, avoiding the tendency I've come across that flattens out with a wider angle view. I later used some CEP filters (Low Key, Polarization and Graduated Neutral Density) which seemed to best bring out the look I captured that late October morning.
