Flour Mill De Hoop, Bunschoten Spakenburg, Netherlands - 2681

Bunschoten is a municipality and a town in the Netherlands, in the province of Utrecht.
Spakenburg is a Dutch village north of Bunschoten. Spakenburg is formally called Bunschoten-Spakenburg since its fusion with Bunschoten. The village lies south of the IJsselmeer in the municipality Bunschoten, Utrecht. It is one of the few places left in the Netherlands where some women still wear local traditional clothes.

De Hoop is a Dutch flour mill located at Stadsspui 15 in Bunschoten. It is an octagonal wooden mill on a concrete substructure.
The construction in 2008 is an initiative of the Corn Mill De Hoop Bunschoten Foundation which wants to revive a mill of the same name built in 1899 with the construction of the mill. The remainder of this mill was demolished in 1967.
