Quetzalcoatl Temple Burials

All the burials associated with the Quetzalcoatl Temple display unique characteristics. They are multiple burials where this group seen in the photo corresponds to four female individuals whose ornamentation consists of earflaps or conch and necklaces made of beads from the same material. Part of the offering consists of obsidian projectile points and slate disks positioned at the posterior and near the thigh. These burials date to approximately AD 150 to 250.
