Another sign about an ancient crypt

Another sign about yet another ancient crypt in and around the ancient Church of Kish near Sheki, Azerbaijan. I was amazed at the number of people interred there and the relatively sound condition of some of the bones. The Church of Kish is considered to be the oldest Christian church in the Caucasians. And while it is no longer in use in a predominantly Moslem Azerbaijan, it has been restored and preserved as a museum. Detailed notes about the Church of Kish appeared in previous captions earlier in this album. (Sheki, Azerbaijan, Sept. 2017)
