Britain's Secretary of State for International Development Andrew Mitchell talks to newly arrived refugees at the Dagahaley refugee camp in Dadaab, near the Kenya-Somalia border, July 16, 2011.

Mr Mitchell visited the Dadaab refugee camps, where he met families forced to leave their homes in Somalia in order to survive.

The UK announced a £52million package of humanitarian support for the Horn of Africa region today, including aid for refugees in Kenya and Somalia.
