Homemade vegan ice cream with my new ice cream maker!! I can't begin to describe the joy this brings me. This was so good--rich and spicy and just the thing for a hot summer day that needs a little dose of decadence. The brownies are rich and fudgy brownies from the Simple Treats cookbook. They use sweet potatoes in the batter--who would ever have thought?
