Burned Panathenaic amphora found at Isthmia, 1

On one side, armed Athena striding left. Below, incised graffito in the Corinthian alphabet, ΔΑΜΟΝ ΑΝΕΘΕΚΕ "Damon dedicated (this)."
On the other side, four runners racing to the right.
Greek, made in Athens, Archaic period, late 6th c. BCE
Athenian Black Figure technique, attributed to the Leagros Group.
