The upper floor of the shopping mall includes an open space for temporary displays, gatherings, or events like this. Very often the auspicious colors of red and white form the backdrop banner to the tea service, but this one is rich purple. Most practitioners are women, although there are a few men from time to time, and of course the famous man and his household associated with the ritualization of tea preparation and drinking was Sen no Rikyu (whence the branch schools Ura-sen-ke and Omote-sen-ke come from).

At the top of the escalator is an advertisement for bone manipulation or alignment with a list of health and beauty benefits, below.
