"Solitudo" by Francisco Leopoldo e Silva (1922), Consolation Cemetery, São Paulo, Brazil.

It was a natural granite work that represented the expression of modernism that arrived in São Paulo in the 1920s. This sculpture was the first female nude, placed in the Consolation Cemetery in 1922, where the provocative "Solitudo" is found: a woman wrapped in a translucent veil that most enhances its lush forms, stronger semenity because it is suggested and not shown.
