São Paulo Cemetery (1926), Bairro Pinheiros, Brazil.

The plans to build it date back to 1920, when the city council authorized the acquisition of the property owned by passionate priests in the Pinheiros neighborhood.

The construction of the cemetery was carried out by the master builder Caetano Antônio Bastianetto and of Spanish, Italian and Portuguese workers, who became the first inhabitants of the nascent neighborhood of Vila Madalena.

The cemetery was inaugurated in 1926.
