I'm having drainage pump troubles with my laundry machine again. While the pump's motor can still spin its impeller, it doesn't spin when installed. The pump is at the bottom of the image, and the assembly it connects to is the brown thing at the top. The impeller faces the assembly, and on the opposite side of the assembly is the recirculation pump; its impeller is visible. On the assembly are scrape marks, and there are notches in each of the drainage pump's impeller blades. The scrape marks are not present in a picture I took of the assembly the last time I replaced the pump (www.flickr.com/photos/jjackowski/24875213073/). It seems the impeller was rubbing against the assembly until the motor could spin while the impeller did not.
