A Tightly Packed Grove of Saguaro Cactus (Black & White, Saguaro National Park)

A Tightly Packed Grove of Saguaro Cactus (Black & White, Saguaro National Park)

Another noted location I was informed about from park rangers while walking the Garwood Trail in Saguaro National Park.I can't recall the exact number that the park rangers had mentioned, but looking at the image, there appears to be at least ten saguaro cactus. For the image, I decided to convert to black & white with Silver Efex Pro 2 as I found it really brought a rich tonal contrast across the desert landscape. While the focus was on this one large grove of cactus, I pulled back on the focal length and opened up the setting captured. This is a look to the southwest while in the Rincon Mountain District of the national park.
