U.S. Army colonel jumps at Normandy reenactment

Lt. Col. Jeffrey Foundas is a living interpreter of World War II military history. He made parachute jumps commemorating the 1944 Allied Invasion of Normandy, June 2-6. Foundas is a member the Liberty Jump team headquartered in Denison, Texas. He took leave from his assignment at U.S. Army Africa to take part in the historic reenactment of the invasion airborne operations. (U.S. Army Africa photo by Rich Bartell)
