This museum near the Khansarai was once an Albanian church

Front view of the ancient Caucasian Albanian church located near the Khansarai, Azerbaijan. Notes about the church are not available, nor is it in use as a church, but there are horse rides on offer in the grounds of this ancient church. The interior is a sort of a museum, which is a tad overpriced at Manat 2, and displays a haphazard collection of vintage instruments and implements. This church is not functional, yet on our short walk here, we'd encountered scores of old ladies trying to sell us dried flowers and potpourri- wonder what that was all about. They did not bother us on our walk back. (Sheki, Azerbaijan, Sept. 2017)
