Historic Entrance and Rain-Fed Waters (Mammoth Cave National Park)

A location I'd read and seen from others in their images about this famous cave entrance in Mammoth Cave National Park. It was only in seeing it that I really began to appreciate the wonder of a place to not just be explored but also a subtleness of beauty. In most of my past national park travels, I'd walked amongst the mountains with the grand views seen. Here I had what amounted to a simple cave entrance but on the next day, I'd see a hint of what lied beyond the stairs to the image right...
