Bloor West Village Toronto Ukrainian Festival

Bloor West Village Toronto Ukrainian Festival

The last time I went to the annual Toronto Ukrainian Festival was in 2009. Time for a re-visit!

Canada has been accepting Ukrainian immigrants since the 1880s. Many of them went to the Prairies provinces to farm the land, but many also came to the urban centres of Toronto and Montreal. Today, Ukrainian-Canadians live across all regions of Canada and can be found in all walks of life, including prominent business, political, religious and academic leaders.
