Laas Geel Cave Painting

The Laas Geel Cave Paintings date back to 3,000 to 9,000 BC, and is one of the best preserved historical rock art in Africa.

The paintings mostly consist of cows in ceremonial ropes, humans (presumably the local inhabitants at the time), and various other animals that could no longer be found in the region due to climate change, such as giraffes and canids.
