A busy bee-fly (Bombylius major, I believe) photographed in a patch of Japanese pachysandra at the Montreal Botanical Garden.

Pentax D-FA 100mm F/2.8 WR Macro plus Raynox DCR-250, with off-camera diffused Godox V850ii flash.
