Adelaide. The Colonial Mutual Life Insurance building. Built in 1934 in a pink porphyry stone mixed with concrete. Has Art Deco and Romanesque architectural influences. Now the Mayfair Hotel. Note the lions for decoration.
Adelaide. The Institute building on North Terrace. Opened in 1860. Architect was Edward Hamilton. Classical Greek elements on the facade. Symmetry, portico and different entablature around the windows of the ground and first floors.
