Augur hawk

A female Augur hawk - also called a Jackal buzzard - is the African equivalent to our Red-tailed hawks. She is used for falconry (using birds-of-prey to actually hunt in lieu of rifles or guns). She was a happy and healthy bird with a helluva wing-span.
