After my successful 100 Irish wildflowers project last year I swore I wouldn't take any photos of native flowers this year but I couldn't resist giving these Hogweed plants (Heracleum sphondylium) a Hipstamatic twist. Not unsurprisingly they used to be fed to pigs in times past. Happy Umbellifer Wednesday!

Seems last Thursday was our Summer in Ireland. It's barely 8C today, damp & dismal. I've given in & put the central heating on. Ridiculous for mid June. I do wish Flickr would get the map issue sorted out.
