Hello Everybody,

Last few month that I have in Djibouti, i couldnt help but notice the huge effort of constructions that have been carryed out by the gouvernemnt and its partners.

Indeed, junctions, roads, Markets have been cleaned and made over in a way to appeal the potential investors coming after this Holly Month.

I dont need to mention that the Kempinski Palace Hotel is almost done. it proudly faces the sea besides the DP world and what was once called the Plage du heron.

The free Zone once complete is supposed to host 100 different companies that have their regional headquarters in Dubai.

Kempinski Hotel has now recruted over 100 djiboutians and has already started their training.

2 more banks have opened in town, Saba Islamic Bank(yemen) and International Commercial Bank(malaysia).

Everything is arranged to suit the eyes of investors.

Billions of dollars have been invested by both Dubai and Qatar to support this effort.

However, in the ghettos nothing have changed. People are still living their miserable life. Packed in the shacks, local people have no idea on what is going on.

Even worst, there has been no impact on their lives so far, no impact on jobs or income.

What happened is that the upper part of the society has benefited on both Job Opportunities and Income.

Further social and economical impacts will still have to witnessed.

Despite all of that i cant help but hope for a brighter future for Djibouti. At least for some of us....

When a western women stays at home to look after her house and kids she is respected because of sacrificing herself and doing good for the household?

Any girl can go to university wearing what she wills and have her rights and freedom?

But when Muslimah wears a Hijab they prevent her from entering her university!





When a child dedicates himself to a subject he has potential.

But when he dedicates himself to Islam he is hopeless!





When a Christian or a Jew kills someone religion is not mentioned, but when Muslim is charged with a crime, it is Islam that goes to trial!





When someone sacrfices himself to keep others alive, he is noble and all respect him.

But when a Palestinian does that to save his son from being killed, his brother's arm being broken, his mother being raped, his home being destroyed, and his mosque being violated -- He gets the title of a terrorist! Why? Because he is a Muslim!





When there is a trouble we accept any solution? If the solution lies in Islam, we refuse to take a look at it.





When someone drives a perfect car in a bad way no one blames the car.

But when any Muslim makes a mistake or treats people in a bad manner - people say "Islam is the reason"!





Without looking to the tradition of Islam, people believe what the newspapers say.

But question what the Quran says!

Eight men have been sentenced to death in Somaliland for the murder of three foreign aid workers.
Seven others were given life sentences for their part in the attacks. Police say the killers were Islamic radicals.

Richard and Enid Eyeington from the UK were killed in 2003 at the school they had helped to build. Kenyan Flora Cheruiyot was killed early in 2004.

Somaliland declared independence from Somalia in 1991 but has not been internationally recognised.

The Somaliland court found the attackers guilty of terrorism and banditry.

'Infidels'

The men shouted "Allah Akbar" (God is Great) after Judge Abdurahman Jama Hayan finished reading his sentences in a packed courthouse in the Somaliland capital, Hargeisa, reports the AFP news agency.

"We should not be killed for assassinating infidels," some of the men shouted.


But the judge dismissed their protests.

"The religion is very clear. It does not encourage the assassination of innocent Muslims or non-Muslims," he said.

Defence lawyer Bashir Hussein Abdi said he would appeal.

Four of the accused are not in police custody, and were sentenced in absentia.

The Eyeingtons, in their sixties, were killed in Sheikh, 140km (87 miles) north-east of Hargeisa.

The judge also ordered a further investigation into the murder of Italian aid worker Annalena Tonelli, who was killed a fortnight before the British couple.

The conviction was based on weapons seized by the police, confessions from the accused and statements from witnesses.

While some of you might think that this is not true... I have gone through the pages of the Shariah... And to my great surprise the Shariah doesnt allow that a Death penalty should be decided on Muslims in the Murder of A non-Muslim.... but only blood money should be given as a compensation to the Next-of-Kin...
As a matter of fact this ruling which has been decided by Shafii School of Thought has been approved by the Majority of the Muslim Scholars...
The amount of blood money that should be given to the Family should be lesser than the Amount that is given to Muslim Family...

What are the implications of such rulings??/
The implications are bad to this Modern Society where the Muslim society is no longer the most powerfull civilization...
On the other hand....Does it mean that Muslims should kill Non-muslims and get away with it??
And To God is always true that the souls of Muslim criminals is more important than the souls of innocent Non-Mulims?? Can we just because of their religion exempt or give clemency to criminals whatever their motives??
And How sure are we that these Muslims were

I say No... There are no justification for such a crime... According to some sources... I have been told that these insurgents were from Xamar and their intention were not related to some Jihad purpose but to increase the instability of Somaliland...

Allowing this ruling or applying would be stupid and irrationnal...

What needs to be done is to rewrite the Shariah rulings so as to match the current state of the world...
