Salam...

In the middle ages, the system that was prevailing was Monarchy, now some of you may think that this system has its days and is over.

However, in the post-colonialism system in Africa, appeared a hybrid system that allows the existence of such a system legally. Indeed the leaders of today have reappeared in a new guise; the neo-monarchy consists of distorting the growth of the society. The role of the new administration is no longer to help the population but to curb every daring reform, every enterprising spirit.

In this dynamic world, our sole chance lies in our people, we must train, educated them, instead they lie… these leaders are engaged in a legalized pillage of the national economy, they are making fortune out of the “famine”.

Opponents may think that the system that exist in some so called democratic countries, were almost-legal elections are held every 5 years is enough democratic.
These countries are run by the elders and fortunate part of the society that has benefited from the colonial power.
What is a democracy, if the major proportion of the population are uneducated, living in an unacceptable conditions in these countries?
An ideal democracy is a democracy that gives an opportunity for the people to change the leaders, the system at any time. To that end, there has to be an alternative, the opposition, the balancing power, that have an equal influence on the society.
To illustrate that, we have in each western country, those who have “invented” freedom, a strong opposition.
In the United States we have the Republicans against the Democrats; in France we have the Socialist party versus the Right wing and so on and so forth.

Bear in mind that we are not against a autocratic system, indeed an autocratic system that takes care of the people and are developing the necessary strategies to better their life is way more effective than a democratic system that gives the right to a minority a privileged élite and neglecting the others.

Let there be no doubt that the media such as the sole TV channel, and the weekly newspapers are controlled and are giving a blind praise to the leaders in a such way that leaders consider their countries like their own property.

What needs to be done is freeing the world from real dictators, those who are protected by a democratic system and legal elections and are ruining the life of the miserables.

To a lesser extend, we need to correct the existing system by giving equal rights and support for an opposition, so that they pressure the authorities in charge to justify their irresponsible actions.

God Bless Djibouti and no place else

I quite agree with you that we need freedom and though an effective autocratic system could be better than this mafia, we shouldn't have to make that choice.
It goes also without saying that the best way to freedom and democracy (therefore to the people well-being) is to remove this middleage monarchy.
