anyway we hope that the future generation will invest in their country.....................
see ya

1) The Only country with no exterior debt is the Republic of Somaliland.
2)What is the problem with Mr Miguil post? A man cannot be pround of his country?
If Mr Miguil is behind Djibnet (I doubt it) he did a damn jolly job. Why ohh you have the audacity to ask me why. You never see any propaganda in this place.
So I'll finish with this "STOP ASKING WHAT YOUR COUNTRY CAN DO FOR YOU AND ASK YOURSELF WHAT YOU CAN DO FOR YOUR COUNTRY". JFK

Very good quote indeed but I do not think that Djibouti is lacking of people who want to do things for their country. You may well be one those good citizens who's trying, you are not the first and won't be the last. The least that governments should do is to make it possible for individuals. I am sure JFK had no problem in doing so...

What do you call personal matters? Isn't it your country's problem a personal one?
Isn't the lack of progress, the injustice, the corruption, the suffering of fellow citizens a personal matter? what is your definition? How do you critisize government's incompetence? Just because we are all well off here in the west does not mean we should keep quiet about everything!
I never say never and will not loose hope so long as there GOD fearing, ambitious, intelligent individuals. But we must challenge mediocrities, face our problems, do some self critics.
Here is my question to you JARNI
Do you really believe the gov is running everything well, as they should be? There must be some down side just like any other gov! Share it with us since you are mature enough and tell us how we should improve it?

thanks for being so mindfull .
i might be proud if most of you will be able to contribute as much as you can .on
the contuniation of this topic..
coz i believe that the exchanges of ideas and opinions will bring light where there
is shadow. and comprehension where there is misunderstanding .
Coming back to your question, walane i want you to know that we djiboutians are
very emotional and lack this behavior of analyzing things ...
what is interesting for us is not the topic itself but that someone who posted..it..
i call this personal matter..
and if i said keep away from personal matter i was refering to that ..
though i am not a politician what is going on in our country for the last 3 years
deserve to be appreciated if we wont close our eyes.
i let you discover by yourself the conditions of djibouti..back 1991..
Now my dear walane djibouti has a future full of hope.
if you have visited djibouti recently you could see the changes..
i was very happy to see :les reformes sur le system educatif djiboutien...
je ne flate pas mais wallahi this guy IOG knows what he is doing and has with him
a well educated young people who are determinated to lead the country vers le
developement incha ALLAH.
la privatization a bien marche..and believe me you can see the changes..by
implementing this policy there is steps forward to avoid corruption coz those
services are no more public..
Seems that i am pro..ioge but this is the reality my dear..
soon we gonna have a new port and for heavens sake djibouti will be the singapor
of africa...damn am i exagerating!!!!!!!
walane all those hopes i saw recently in our mother land ..and i hope u did not
loss hope..coz where there is life there always..hope..
but give a chance and time to the gouvernment and let us collect the fruits in the near future..
and make sure that an entire developement takes decades not just a few years in the trone....
my views may seem out of reason but that is the way things are going on..
faithfully yours..

i think that we should keep our personals feelings against IOG and his compagions apart and rather looks what they have done for the country so far....i can hate someone but like what he does and the way he does..
It seems that since Iog went to the power there is kind of light in the country nationally as well as internationally....People expect Iog to do something for the country which is already a step forward in the local palm...and in the international pace Iog is making a Good Image marketing if i can call like that ...People got to know us since he came to the power.......i wont say becoz of him but instead becoz of what he does ..
Les paroles en l air ne serviront rien du tout nous sommes l assets de notre pays ...lets go and contribute our skills to our country .
it wont be a failure but an other steps for the development...
lets contribute together...hand with hand
