New Year's is one of the oldest and most universal of all pagan traditions.
T---gal is the only one that declared himself a pagan thus-far, the rest of community remains in Abrahamic religions domain that includes the lonely Aboona zift King James 1 of this forum .

This system has deliberately thought to change the beginning of God's calendar year in an attempt to hide God's Plan for the salvation of mankind! But man has no authority to change God's "master-clock."
New Year's celebration began in Babylon 4,000 years ago. It is practiced today by almost every people on the face of the earth. Satan the Devil has indeed deceived the whole world (Rev. 12:9.)
The earth's rotation regulates the length of a day -- the lunar phases indicate the length of a month. And the orbit of the earth around the sun dictates the length of a year. Only Almighty God has the authority to set the date of the beginning of the New Year!

Pour tous leurs autres besoins, les musulmans du monde entier utilisent, depuis environ deux siecles, le calendrier gregorien, fonde sur le calcul astronomique.

The Julian calendar is almost certainly derived in part from ancient Babylonian calendars, with additions from several other pagan cultures. Comme le faisaient les djibautes (même musulmans) par le passe...
Alors continue de penser comme en 1438 et continue de rejeter les traditions du pays qui t'a accueilli.

Simple "Bonne Annee" means nothing without reference to history.
According to the alien personality of this forum T---gal, the western world along with many other unsuspecting nations just celebrated 25th Dec 2016 AD Chris Mass the actual birth day of Jesus A S, and then couple of days later commemorations to mark Jesus birthday 1st Jan.2017 AD (AD an abbreviation for “Anno Domini,” which is a Latin phrase meaning “in the year of Prophet Jesus AH,” referring to the year of Christ’s birth) with a wild pagan parties.
Could he (T---gal) explain to the confused community of ours as to why he has to celebrate two different birth day parties for P. Jesus in a space of week ?!!

It seems that our strange friend T---gal has failed to explain which date is the intended birth day of Jesus AH, is it the 25th of Dec. or is it the 1st of Jan.? Also the lack of respond from the forum users for his pagan festivities greeting seems to have taking its toll.
The closest explanation that the modern Christian could have come up is "The Octave of Christmas "the Catholic and Anglican churches have two feasts during the Christmas Octave – Christmas Day, which begins it, and the "Feast of the Circumcision" which ends it.
But regarding the Circumcision... it is known that Jews used to practice circumcision on the 8th day after birth... 25 + 8 = 2 or 3 (not Jan. 1st!!).
In the Old Testament, circumcision was sign of the covenant between God and Abraham, and thus between God and the Jewish people. The oath of this covenant was sealed by the act and sign of circumcision. It was on the eighth day that this important event took place.
Almost all the forum users have been circumcised with exception of few alien characters like T---gal.
