President Guelleh raised so many questions about the future of RPP yesterday. Unfortunately, most of those who were present tried to flatter the President by repeating empty slogans. They did not even bother themselves to listen carefully and find what the problem with RPP!

RPP is now a dead party for three reasons. First, UMP has been on the political arena for the last 12 years. People don't know who represents who. So they thought UMP is RPP with a new mask. Second,Many RPP militants joined the civil sociey "ASSOCIATIONS". Third, RPP is an aging party. This means it is dominated by older generation.

RPP was a good party. It has a great history but needs a change. It needs a new vision and a new strategy to serve and convince Djiboutians that they can trust RPP again as their trustworthy party which fights for their rights and builds their future.
Better future for our kids.

If one is on the losing end of a political game, it can be difficult for him or her, whether to resign (forfeit the game to his or her opponent), and if so, he or she has to embrace the unavoidable outcome of advantages and disadvantages for resigning the game early on which is inevitably has to come an ugly end.

Chief of Djibouti Enterprise’s Advantages to resigning game might save him from having to sit through the remaining illegal third term, drawn-out blow-by-blow defeat with a little face saving. On process of doing so, he might save his opponent from having to go through a long, drawn-out blow-by-blow series of uncoordinated moves.

RPP without Djibouti Chief of Enterprise means zilch, all these guys are his paid lobbyist with a fake tribal mask he hires and fires them. One need to look back the recent regional elections, when Chief of Djibouti Enterprise strategically choose Lassez-faire approach, not only to find out the true popularity of his Grand-old-Party but also to white-wash the vote rigging of his presidential election.

It’s a cheap excuse to say that one man’s party RPP needs young dynamic leaders when virtually unknown young man TX executed RPP Texas style, now TX is homeless after his office had been deliberately torched while he was out of the country.

One side is confident with both hands, the other side with hand and undue hesitation!

The following is a desperate appeal of RPP’s webpage (www.rpp.dj) last updated on Mach 2010, it was just created as on time use for the illegal 3rd term election, ever since than it has been under-construction.

"Now, and it's easy to see, we offer you this new virtual platform of communication, through which all those here and elsewhere who want to revitalize and reinvigorate the militant energy that is in them, or still inclined to act in the interest of the party are welcome."

Chief of Djibouti Enterprise’s reluctant to share power by citing an excuse used frequently by authoritarian rulers:* “This time round, I will not change my mind. I did not want this last mandate. It is a forced mandate, because the people felt there was no one ready to take over”. By saying the above statement he has indirectly indicated that there are no party (RPP) or political organization that he is accountable to.

Also the same interview with a French-language African news magazine, Chief of Djibouti Enterprise, was asked if “the great wind of the Arab Spring” had “blown as far as Djibouti?” Guelleh, leader of Djibouti since 1999, quickly dismissed the notion:* “The Holy Koran talks of ‘summer and winter voyages.’ The notion of spring does not exist in the Arab world”.

In his book Clash of Civilizations, he repeatedly asserts that Muslim countries are infertile ground for democratic development and, hence, the # “underlying problem for the West is not Islamic fundamentalism. It is Islam, different civilizations whose people are convinced of the superiority of their culture and are obsessed with the inferiority of their power.”

Esposito's research found that Muslims do not want a Western imposed democracy and prefer to build their own version of a democratic system which would speak to their issues and concerns rather than to Western interests. In addition, “[Muslims] see Western culture as materialistic, corrupt, decadent, and immoral. They also see it as seductive, and hence stress all the more the need to resist its impact on their way of life.” No society would like be subjugated.

When citizens socialize, they become more involved in society, triggering citizen participation in society through volunteer work, non-government organizations, lobbying, and activism. This in turn leads to an increase in political participation. The idea is that a few Americans in a bowling ally contribute to America's democracy. Evidently, the concept shura or consultation is valued in Islam and democracy alike.

RPP=Piggy

The Chief of Djibouti Enterprise’s lack of consultation to his own party, or/and considering it as non existence organization, is the direct result of not having clear leader in case ا الله سمح لا, so this is his last desperate attempt to create something out of nothing. As it is now, it’s not easy to create for himself and for his Enterprise a smooth exit strategy. Domestically, he destroyed all the government institutions and initiated a tribal play off know SHAX in Somali, and whoever get a chance to lead Djibouti after him will have to undo all the deadly move of the tribal SHAX. Externally however, equally deadly asymmetrical powers are ready and willing to use whatever means necessary to achieve their strategic interest, these powers are pressuring Chief of Djibouti Enterprise to see their man becomes his successor for the status-quo as to remain as it is.

With the fall of the authoritarian regime in Muslim countries embraced democracy and took pride in the change of political systems. This reveals that even today, many Muslims actively seek a democratic political system, but hostile dictators like Piggy of Djibouti actively seek to silence them.

On a contrary to Huntington’s claim that Islam is resistant to democracy holds no truth, Islamic religion supports democracy, and Muslims favour for it. Nevertheless, there is a lack of democratic development in the Muslim world and it is caused by many factors other than religion, two of which are socio-cultural preferences and strong, hostile authoritarian regimes. Democracy has become a need for the majority of Muslim citizens who desire political participation, liberal rights, and accountable governments. With an opportunity to build their own democracy, their societies will flourish and the “clash of civilizations” will cease to exist.

Piggy Chief of Djibouti Enterprise, has quietly begun to actively recruit new batch of MPs, so far most the new MPs have no strong ties with previous tugs of RPP, perhaps his could be an intention to create a brand party for his legacy to continuous beyond 2016.

One hears a lot in these days, that there is no difference between the Democrats and the GOP. Both of America's political parties are run by corporations. Well industrious Piggy is leaning from current events, so why not created a new party that belongs to him which could complete-against RPP and would not boycott the election.

The two parties RPP and the new party RAD can play a political enactment similar to that of the American system and Djibouti Enterprise will remain the sole beneficiary of the new ploy.

According to your uncle Eng. Ali Waraabe, leader of UCID political party, all the self-declared Somaliland political parties are in the pockets of Piggy, Chief of Djibouti Enterprise.
you shouldn't put your nose where it doesn't belong.. First of all you should think ways to free up your homeland from Piggy's political mockery.

RPP, the party that Piggy inherited from his late uncle is in tatters, they lost the last regional election miserably, the main purpose for the RPP hoopla is to discredit USN popularity. Piggy stated that there is a disunity within the USN ranks. Piggy is the master of divide and rule, he could not believe the unity of the opposition group after many failed attempt to disunited them. Piggy's wish remains a week without Friday!

How much did they spend on 4th of ?arch?
Seemed too much. At least, now they don't wear the UMP mask anymore! It is good to be true to oneself and face the reality on the ground. The only thing that worries ordinary citizens like myself, is the growing violation of common liberties of Djiboutians. Dr. Djama's hunt for teachers who supported USN last year is one example for this. RPP uses one-party = one-man policies sometimes.
The new Marehan tendency of Somali Democrcatic Party (Siad Barre's party) in RPP makes many Djiboutians skeptical of our leaders' agenda.
