I understand u want to cover Jobs,Nepotism, Discrimination in Djibouti, But my man Mr Sycho has not given a chance to really debate here the issue.
What i want you to understand is that we are all victim, all Djibouti young graduates face the problem of not getting a job in Djibouti.
the Recrutement process in the public companies and governement offices is so complex that to get a job as secretary in governement office the decision should come directly from the IOG himself.
From top to the Bottom all the decision are centrelized. You have to understand 80% of the youth are jobless, very few young fellows have jobs in jib and despite the new Doraleh Container Terminal, no impact is recorded on the rate of the unemployement.
We are all in this toghether, poverty and misery in jib has no tribe. the Wealth and the power is not confined or limited to one tribe but few individuals who does not believe in the tribe system but using it for their own agenda. Of course, closest relative benefits like brothers, sisters of the Director of such governement establishment but the list is small. if every Director was to hire his own tribe then their would not be any unemployement, but they dont even do so.
You will always find the same poeple making the trouble , they are behind every big deals. Some people are more powerfull than the elected deputies and ministers.
when it comes private company, every company has it own recrutement philosophy, but few often adhere to the conventionnal western recrutement process. whats the fuss? Inchcape Director hires only his own kind,
so what directors algamil, bis, bci, hire their fellow tribesmen? It is up to the highest member of your tribe to apply the rules of the game and hire your lazy arse. it is not wrong but it is different. if you dont know that you better ask somebody.
Kind Regards
PS: Sycho easy on the kid, he is new at this!

LA NATION
Training
Three questions? Abdillahi Ainan Robleh
Chairman of the Joint Balbala
L? ADDS entrusted the selection of beneficiaries of training on the management committee of the Development Fund Balbala which you preside. How does this committee?
All members of the management committee emanating from the network of neighborhood associations, two delegates per district specifically. The committee based on those forces who by their actions cover many issues inherent in the? Improvement of living conditions of inhabitants of Balbala. These dynamic associations grouped gradually networks? at? like to unify network Ward 12, District Wahlehdaba to 14, etc.? ? uvrent already in favor of? inclusion and youth training. They organize such courses d? Computer or tutoring.
For setting? Implement the Program of Integrated Urban Development under l? Momentum by l? ADDS our committee has undertaken several months coordinating the project with associations Balbala. For the component vocational training, recruitment of candidates was facilitated by representatives of our district that have led an effective working dialogue with their local knowledge and concerns of youth Balbala.
How s? Place is the selection of candidates?
We are inspired by what had been done by the management committee of PK12, which training initiated by the common Balbala have benefited hundreds of young people in just over four years. We have set a quota of candidates by area or neighborhood. Through the delegates, associations and opinion leaders in each district, the committee issued l? Collected the information and applications. Then, a selection test in French, English and mathematics was used to select beneficiaries.
Of course, some young people will have to wait. Typically, for 50 training places, 500 applications are filed. Balbala is the common list the more people unemployed and unskilled. So for us, l? Incoming? A project like PDUI is a breath of? Air.
What future do you want to Youth Balbala?
On behalf of the common Balbala, I would like to thank the president, Ismail Omar Guelleh, who through l? National Initiative for Social Development (INDS) leads a large offensive on the poverty front. I also thank Secretary of? State for National Solidarity, Mohamed Ahmed Awaleh and general manager of? ADDS, Ismail Kadar Guelleh for their effectiveness in achieving the objectives of? INDS and taking into account needs of residents Balbala.
For l? Future, I hope all young people are integrated somewhere that? They are employees or that? They set up their own business. Each must find its place in society, positively occupy his day. We need help in this direction.
This requires vocational training? j? d hoped? other than d? other training activity will s? included in the continuity of these formations ADDS? but it also involves creation? jobs. However, many development projects have taken shape in Balbala recently, including buildings and military housing. C? Is very positive because the benefits are many: creation? Jobs, improvement of power? Purchase of? Image neighborhoods?
Our role is to ensure that neighborhood youth were absorbed in these projects.
As for young people who have received training, I wish them s? Hang because we have examples of success in neighborhoods, young people started their business or contracted a microcredit out of their training. I hope that the Management Committee creates a revolving fund to facilitate l? Green Card? Microcredit. I want to lift families out of the vulnerability by empowering them to become autonomous by facilitating the? Access to funds d? Savings and credit.
