LOL ... I have a small respect for that encyclopedia since alot of people seems to copy-paste for academic reasons to get caught with a harsh slap in the brain. For your case, it got to the level where you want to b***h-slap them.

Do you know that it is possible to modify the information on wikipedia easily (i've done for fun). Anybody that is way lazy to verify this wiki-encyclodia for academic reasons and doesn't care the authenticity of his works would be easily reprimended for fraud since alot of the professor are equipped with a software that traces the wedsites or locations of a quote from your work with a scan and single click!

You won't believe the percentage of students that goes through the fraud office in a year and it tends to increase even more.

True, then again, you haven't heard this yet on the news where some student are paid by student to do their work. Which is unfair for the poor Mamadou,Mohamed or Pedro that busted their eyes to study every single word in the books when they don't access to ressources like some of us do.

In the least developped country, the main goal is to get your education to reach higher opportunity.
In the developped country, a simple bachelor could lead to a office or a taxi driver so the main thing in the education is make networks to used them for better purposes and sometimes luck or good faith and dedication would help.

Well, there is a way you can copy and get away with it, all you have to do is copy what ever you wanna copy and then put it in your own words and there is no way they could proof it you just cheated. Trust me it works

Well, the way you put it is the best way to work on a paper if you have 5 other papers pending LOL. Always made sure you include where you got your informations... if not. Your worst nightmare: Red pen everywhere and yellow highlights... Ouch! I always got scared of copying so i relay on the explaining in my words and rely less on regular website. Better to use the journals from scholars atleast it prooves you are willing to take more steps to understand what you've learned.
Now coolwannabe ... That's when I brush off my shoulder for the haters!

I paid money to get a degree, learning depends on me. I still learn so many things without paying a penny.

Using Wiki with moderation might not hurt though.

Using Wiki just to verify something or to learn something is no problem to me. You are right because there is not one day we don't complain about the load of assignments and presention we carry while some other also have to work to pay their postsecondary education. It's never been easy for students and never will it change which is the price we pay to get better learnings.
The one I'm refering to is for those that bluntly copy-paste with No quotation marks and complain their professor marked harshly ... nobody like the red pen but we are told learn your subject to make learn more for outself and not the marking with a evil grin and the red pen (I hate that red pen).

Sometimes, we could use wikipedia for personal learning but it's just funny that some people apply to heart like Lilou said. For example, who doesn't google their way through to find a small information. I guess we will see the upcoming verb: wikipedia so and so or I wikiped about this ... Wow ... so weird
